Vincent Crowley - Executive Chairman

Vincent Crowley was appointed Chairman Designate of the Group in October 2015 and took up the position of Executive Chairman at the date of the demerger transaction in November 2015.  He was previously both COO and CEO of Independent News and Media plc, a leading media company which, during his tenure, had operations and investments in Australia, India, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa and the UK. He also served as CEO and subsequently as a non-executive Director of APN News & Media, a media company listed in Australia and New Zealand. He is currently chairman of Newsbrands Ireland, a non-executive Director of C&C Group plc and Inner City Enterprise.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and initially worked with KPMG.

PJ Browne - Non Executive Director

PJ Browne was appointed to the Board in April 2018.  He is the Head of Financial Assurance and Risk Management of IPL Plastics plc since September 2017.   Prior to joining IPL Plastics plc, PJ held a number of positions within the areas of risk management, internal audit, compliance and company secretarial.  From February 2006, PJ was Company Secretary and Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management at AgCert International plc, a FTSE listed company.  From June 2008, PJ was Company Secretary and Head of Risk & Internal Audit at EcoSecurities Group plc, an AIM listed company.  From September 2015, PJ worked for CircleK Ireland (formerly Topaz Energy Group Limited) and ACTAVO Group Limited in a number of roles including Head of Internal Audit, Head of Shared Services and Head of Risk & Compliance.  PJ qualified as a chartered accountant with EY in Dublin and graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway with an honours degree in Commerce

Paul Furlong - Non-Executive Director

Paul was appointed to the Board in November 2015.  He is a director of Pageant Holdings Ltd and Melcorpo Properties Ltd since 2010. Prior to this, Paul was finance director of Pilton Ltd, a DCC Sercom subsidiary.  Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Masters in Accounting from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, having qualified with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Michael Walsh - Non-Executive Director

Michael was appointed to the Board in November 2015.  He is Chief Executive Officer of Woodford Capital Management Limited.  He was Group Finance Director of NTR plc from 2003 until 2010.  Prior to joining NTR, Michael was Group Finance Director and Company Secretary of Musgrave Group plc for ten years.  He also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in both Dublin and London.  Michael is Chairman of the Board of St. Patrick’s Hospital Foundation.  He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from The National University of Ireland, Cork and is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Caroline Bergin - General Counsel & Company Secretary

Caroline Bergin was appointed General Counsel and Company Secretary Designate of the Group in October 2015 and took up that position at the date of the demerger transaction in November, 2015.  She was previously Group Legal Director and Company Secretary of NTR plc from 2010 until 2014.  Prior to that she held the same position at Greencore Group plc, an Irish head-quartered and publicly traded convenience foods company.  Caroline began her career practising law with A & L Goodbody, before joining Greencore in 1991. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University College Dublin, is a qualified solicitor and has a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.  She is currently a non-executive Director of the NTR Foundation and Coolock Community and Enterprise Campus. 

Martina Corrigan - Financial Controller

Martina Corrigan was appointed as the Financial Controller of the Group in February 2016.  She was previously the Financial Controller of FundAssist Limited from September 2015 to February 2016, a specialist service provider to the funds industry.  She also held the position of Financial Controller of KKR Credit (formerly Avoca Capital), the European Credit Investment Management division of KKR for a period of over 11 years.   Martina holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway, is a member of the Irish Taxation Institute, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant in Ireland, having qualified with KPMG.
